An update is a short post on a goal, up to 500 characters. It is private by default. On a public page, posts show only when you leave them visible.
Writing one#
You write the post yourself in the app. goalmrr does not invent a result, a customer count or a quote. If the number you are talking about came from a provider, the page already says who verified it and how fresh it is. The post does not replace that label.
Your own AI#
Every plan is Bring your own AI. You do not need an assistant to post an update. If you connect one over MCP, it can read your goals and draft updates, and it acts with your permissions. It cannot enter revenue, change a key or delete your data. Anything that would make a goal or a post public needs your explicit confirmation. The steps are in use with your AI.
You are responsible for the assistant you connect and for what it writes under your name.
