Goals and milestones
How goalmrr reads a revenue goal from one sentence, which kinds it understands, and how milestones are suggested.
You write the goal in one sentence, for example "10k MRR by 31 December". goalmrr reads the kind, the amount and the date with plain rules, and keeps your own words as the title. You choose the currency. There is no default currency.
Kinds#
- Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and annual recurring revenue (ARR).
- Monthly revenue and yearly revenue.
- A lifetime total.
- Combined revenue across products.
Yearly subscription prices are counted as one twelfth when goalmrr works out a month. Weekly and daily prices are converted to a month as well. Progress follows the verified revenue of the providers you connected, not a number you type. Revenue cannot be typed in, by you or by an AI assistant.
Milestones#
After the sentence is read, goalmrr suggests milestone steps between where you are and the target, and a first update you can edit. A milestone is a date and an amount on the way to the goal. It is not a promise that you will hit it.
Goals and milestones are unlimited on every plan. The plans differ only in how many apps you can manage. See plans.
What stays private#
A goal is private until you publish it. The public page, when you choose one, is described in public page.
