# Badge and Markdown

> The share image, the embeddable badge and the Markdown copy of a published goalmrr page, and what they do not include.

Publishing a goal allows goalmrr to show four public copies of that page:

- The page itself, at its address.
- A share image, for a link preview.
- A badge other sites may embed.
- A Markdown version of the same public facts.

The badge is the piece you embed. The page is not framed inside another site. The badge and the Markdown copy show the same public facts as the page: title, progress, milestones, who verified the number, and amounts or posts only when you left them on. They do not include your key, your account or a number you kept private.

Anyone may link to the page and embed the badge. You can unpublish at any moment, and the page, the image, the badge and the Markdown copy stop opening at once.
